Campfire Critters Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue dedicated to providing a loving, forever home to animals in need. We are located at Willowdale Farm in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Run by the Gedicke and Peck families, Campfire Critters started at a campground in Hayes, VA in 2016 when the campground started adopting barnyard animals in need of a new home.  As our herd grew over the years, we decided our animals needed their own dedicated organization. 

We achieved our non-profit status in 2020 and relocated from Hayes to Willowdale Farm in Fredericksburg in June 2021.

Campfire Critters Animal Sanctuary is currently home to 8 horses, 6 mini horses, 7 donkeys, 1 alpaca, 5 goats, 3 sheep, 9 guinea pigs, 10 cows, 48 mini pigs, and 7 farm pigs.
