September 11th was a very sad day for us as we found our beloved Lucy dead in her field. Lucy was surrendered to us back in March and we immediately fell in love with her. She was the absolute perfect cow. We don't know cause of death but it would seem she died peacefully as there were no signs of struggle or injury. It appears as if she laid down to sleep and never woke up.
We are absolutely heartbroken over Lucy's sudden and unexplained death. She should have been with us for many many years. Rest In Peace sweet girl. You are forever loved and forever missed.
