Virginia155 crew home safe and sound!

On December 12th, CCAS volunteers met a wonderful group of people on the farm in Orange County where the pigs were currently being housed. There were 16 pigs there. We were able to corral and trailer 14 pigs back to the sanctuary. The last two evaded the round up but we will go back for them when they are caught again. Our 14 new pigs are doing well in their new home. Many are morbidly obese and are on a special diet of vegetables and pig specific grain. One of the 14 pigs is a 900lb farm pig names Arnold. Two other pigs have been named in addition to Arnold but we will need your help naming the last 13! Keep an eye out for our naming fundraising. This will be posted as soon as we can get a clear face shot of each precious piggy.
